Weather Affects Sports

From low 70s to high 30s, spring sure doesn’t feel like it’s sprung yet. Due to harsh snowy weather, Laurel varsity sports were bound to the indoors on Monday April 18, 2022. Track spent time in the gym throwing rubber shot puts and running the halls, and the girl’s softball team practiced their batting skills. Being flexible to the weather is just one thing Spartan coaches do right. Let’s wish our softball girls a good luck at their game on April 20th against the Shenango Wildcats, and the Girls and boys track team at their meet on Thursday, April 21st at laurel against the Riverside Panthers and the Beaver Falls Tigers!
