Central Registration/Student Enrollment
Welcome to the Laurel school district!
Starting August 1, 2023 the district is moving to a central registration system to enroll new students. In order to register a student at Laurel School District, you will need to schedule an appointment. To schedule, please call 724-658-8940 extension 3924 to speak to the central registration office or you can send an email to enroll@laurel.k12.pa.us
Appointments are to report to the District Office Entrance of the Laurel Middle-High School. The Central Registration Office is located at 2497 Harlansburg Road, New Castle Pa 16010

Required Documents and Information for Registration
The following documents are required to register a student in the Laurel School District.
Birth Certificate
Proof of Residency - Residency must be verified to be in the Laurel School District by providing any combination of the following documents that includes one (1) document from Category A AND one (1) document from Category B:
Category A - one (1) document
Current mortgage/lease/rental agreement (within sixty (60) days)
Sworn Statement Residency Affidavit by Resident Under 13-1302- completed by resident family member or friend, signed and notarized (Attachment B)
Category B - one (1) document
Current utility bill with current address (i.e., water, gas, electric, cable, telephone) (within sixty (60) days)
Most current tax record (within one (1) year)
Payroll stub with current address (within sixty (60) days)
W-2 form (within one (1) year)
The following items can be submitted/signed off electronically via Alma Start:
Student Residency Questionaire (complete on Alma Start)
Parent/Guardian Registration Statement (submit via Alma Start)
Authorization for Student Records (submit via Alma Start)
Home Language Survey (complete on Alma Start)
Digital Image Release (complete on Alma Start)
Valid PA Driver's License or Valid PA Photo Identification card (submit via Alma Start)
Proof of Guardianship (if applicable) (submit via Alma Start)
Proof of Residency (submit via Alma Start)
Safe Schools Affidavit (submit via Alma Start)
