Project H.O.P.E.

by Abigail Richards

This November Laurel Middle/High School and Laurel Elementary School participated in the Project HOPE food drive. Overall Laurel donated 4,000 lbs of food and $1,963. We were able to feed 23 families in our community, giving them all dinners they could be thankful for. There was so much food the Student Council was able to bring the extra to the City Rescue Mission, downtown.

The student council would like to thank everyone who participated and supported the food drive, making this a year to remember!

A big congratulations to Mrs. Scott for again collecting the most cans out of all the teachers in the high school!
