Upcoming Tryouts

Laurel Spartans, now can be your time to shine in the band! Tryouts are going on for Drum Major, Section Leader, Dance Line, and Color Guard. Haven’t seen the flyers? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with all the information on when and where to sign up.  

Drum Major and Section Leader forms are due on April 11. All paperwork can be picked up in the band office. Section Leader interviews will be on April 28th and April 30th. Drum Major interviews will be on April 29th. 

Drumline music will be distributed on March 31, and auditions are on May 1st. More details to come about drumline music practices.

Color Guard Tryouts will be on Friday, April 11 at 4:30 pm. There are choreography practices from April 7-10 from 3:30-5:30. Students must also pick up the Color Guard tryout packet outside of the band room, and sign up on the sheet on the band room doors.

Danceline tryouts will be on April 3rd from 3:30-6pm. Practice days are March 31st and April 1st from 3:15-5:30pm. Students MUST attend one practice day. Students should sign up with Mrs. J Miles.
