Senior Justin Johns

Justin Johns is a senior at Laurel High School. He is a caring and trustworthy student and member of numerous student activities. Justin had been a part of the cross country team here at Laurel since 7th grade, where he was captain of the 2022 cross section and tri-county champion team. He also participates in track and field, marching band, concert band, jazz band. Justin has recently joined the Laurel Theater Arts in their production of Oliver.
He states “this year was my first time doing theater arts, and I got the opportunity to play a lead role. It was really fun to play a character that is the complete opposite from the way I am both mentally and physically.”
Justin is also a member of Boy Scouts and has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in July of 2022. In the future, he plans on attending Slippery Rock University to study Elementary Education. He is looking forward to joining SRU’s Marching Band and possibly going to London next year. Justin’s words of wisdom are to “Enjoy your High School experience and strive for greatness.” Good luck to Justin in all of his future endeavors and on maintaining a great rest of the school year.
