Girls Senior Night

This past Monday, February 6th, our lady Spartans had a home face off against Riverside. Before the Varsity team began their matchup, six seniors were recognized for senior night, consisting of Regan Atkins, Erika Price, Georgia Jellyman, Johnna Hill, Josey Fortuna, and Danielle Pontius. These six girls have all been playing basketball together since third grade. The bond that the Lady Spartan seniors had and have is like no other. Our six seniors have put in many late nights, weekends, after school hours, and so much more to become the amazing basketball players, and group of girls they are today. Each senior girl was announced one by one, and spoke about, such as what they plan to do/ attend after high school, the work they have put in being a Lady Spartan and so much more. Ending the recognition, we began the matchup against Riverside starting; Regan Atkins, Erika Price, Danielle Pontius, Georgia Jellyman, and Josey Fortuna. The girls had an amazing game beating Riverside 56 to 22. We wish our Lady Spartan senior basketball players the best of luck. Our community is extremely proud of how far all of you have come, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for you all.
