Student Council 2022

On September 27th 2022, Laurel Student Council hosted their annual induction ceremony before school, inducting nearly 50 students from both the Middle and High School. The ceremony opened with a speech from teacher advisor Mr. Holzhauser, followed by speeches from President Chelsea Stewart, and Vice President, Erika Price, discussing upcoming events they plan to hold. Some fundraisers currently going on include the donut sales that take place every other Friday morning in the High School Lobby. In addition to donut sales they are also currently selling tickets to Cheeseman’s Haunted Hayride for Sundays at a reduced price of $20. 

With all that has happened in the past few years, the Student Council is happy to see their attendance numbers have nearly doubled this year alone. We appreciate everything the Student Council has done for our school and will continue to do, and are excited to see what else they will accomplish in the future!
