Pink Out Game

by Kendra Ruperto

Did you know that October is the month we bring awareness to breast cancer? As a school, we find it extremely valuable to bring to perception the importance of the most common cancer found in women. Breast Cancer Awareness month is crucial to represent and show the many women who have fought and beat this ruthless sickness. It is also ideal to bring recognition of the frequency of this cancer found in women, to help catch the cancer at an early stage, to prevent further destruction.

To show the significance we find in Breast Cancer Awareness as a school, we are doing our annual Pink Out Football Game this Friday night, October 14th, at our home field. It will be a fun time and a good game, as the boys take on their next opponent, South Side Beaver. As we approach the end of the football season, we would love to see all the support and fans we can at the remaining games. We hope to see you back at the stadium Friday night, and remember, and don’t forget to wear your pink!
