Languauge Week

Hola! No olvides celebrar la Semana Nacional de las Lenguas Extranjeras durante la primera semana de marzo. In the Spring of 1957 National Foreign Language Week was inaugurated. Sister Eloise Therese realized that this has never been celebrated as a whole besides in educational institutions. Inspired by National Executive Council of Alpha Mu Gamma began to make the U.S. aware of the importance of foreign language study through the celebration of National Foreign Language Week (NFLW). The first celebration was the week of February 17-23 in 1957. As of now the National Executive Council of AMG has set a week to celebrate this. It is now celebrated during the first week of March.
