Girls Wrestling WPIAL
by Kamryn McVay
Over the weekend, the Girls Varsity Wrestling Team competed at their first ever WPIAL championship. All of their hardwork and dedication has paid off throughout this season. Alexis Brua placed 4th in the 124 weight class, Allyssa Stewart placed 5th in the 155 weight class, and Tessa Cotelesse is the girls first ever WPIAL champion in the 148 weight class. Congratulations to all of the girls on all of their accomplishments and good luck at Regionals as they’ll try to qualify for the first ever PIAA girls state meet in Hershey!
