Senior Spotlight - Olivia Dunmire

Author: Jayden Wallace

Olivia had gone to Laurel her entire life. Throughout that time, many teachers have made an impact on Liv's high school experience, such as Mrs. C, Mrs, McGarrah, and Mrs. Kerr. "These teachers have always lit up a classroom and made me want to learn. They believed in me and pushed me to do my best!"

During high school, Olivia has been a part of activities like journalism, basketball stats, and was voted art club president! When asked about her favorite memory, Liv stated, "In 10th grade, Maddison got the scissors taken away from us because she was acting like she was going to cut my hair!"

Guidance Olivia would give underclassmen is, "It's not always good to be the best as there is. There would be nothing to work for." After high school, Liv wants to go to a four year university and major in political science.

We requested Liv to give her favorite quote, "An eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind." - Gandhi

We wish you the best of luck on this journey after high school!
