Senior Spotlight - Breah Dewberry

Author: Jayden Wallace

Breah initially went to New Wilmington and first came to Laurel in 10th grade. Throughout her school years, she has had wonderful teachers such as Mrs. Grynn and Mrs. Clingensmith. "They always make a comfortable place to be open and creative."

Throughout her high school years, Breah has done baseball stats for Laurel's baseball team and many others teams. Her favorite memory was the Mohawk 2023 game. "It was a great game, the umpires were crazy. It was one of the most exciting games I have ever watched!"

The advice Breah would give to younger students is "High school is a short time in your life, whether it is good or bad, there is so much more to look forward to." One word to describe her high school experience was "mediocre".

After Breah graduates, she plans to attend a four year college and study English or Social Studies to teach 4th or 8th graders.

Breah's favorite quote: Proverbs 29:11 "A fool vents all his feelings, but a wise man holds them back"
