Sr. Spotlight - Alyssa Sherman

Alyssa is part of Super Spartan Spirit Club here at Laurel. She also is part of FFA where she served as chaplain for two years. Along with being involved at New Life Baptist Church, Alyssa is involved in Laurel's Youth Alive Program. 

During her junior year, Alyssa was elected 2024 prom princess by her peers. Her favorite memory from her time at Laurel was attending the Junior FFA National Convention in Indianapolis. 

Alyssa's advice to underclassmen is, "Always be kind because a small word can highly impact someone's day."

Alyssa has been accepted to Thiel College, where she hopes to attend and major in Speech Pathology. Good luck, Alyssa! Laurel wishes you the best.
