Wrestling Sr Night

On January 25th, our Laurel Spartan wrestling team battled in a pivotal section matchup against the Hampton Talbots on Senior Night. The atmosphere was there for the seniors and to encourage them to a win to advance to the playoffs. The seniors recognized before the match were the following: Alexis Brua, Mackenzie Maine, Kamryn McVay, Noah Spencer, Willie and Rosie Moore. Before the Varsity match, there was an honorary match for our senior girl wrestler, Alexis Brua. She wrestled Alexia Fisher from New Castle. Brua pinned Fisher in the 2nd period 3:05 into the match. After the exhibitions, the Varsity Boys wrestled as follows:
