Volleyball Season

Have you been supporting your Laurel Spartan volleyball team so far this season? Volleyball games are every Tuesday and Thursday,JV at 6 and Varsity at 7. They've all been working hard, after losing all of their starting seniors that graduated last year. This year's volleyball seniors are Dakota Weldon, Bella Audia, Sarah McCosby, and Kayla Carlson. Come out and support your seniors as it’s going to be the last few times they play out on the court. This year’s setter is Teagan Fortuna taking over after her sister, Josey Fortuna who graduated last year. Josey’s shoes were big to fill, but Teagan has taken control and has been working hard and doing an amazing job. Senior outside hitter, Dakota Weldon has been excelling during her volleyball career. She’s been playing on the volleyball team since 7th grade and has started on the varsity team for 2 years. At a tournament a couple weeks ago, she made the All Tournament Team! Congrats Dakota and keep up the good work. Good luck to the volleyball team throughout the rest of the season. Don’t forget to come out and support!
