Track Meet 4/11

This past Tuesday on the 11th there was a track meet at home against Shenango and Ellwood High School. The Laurel track team beat Ellwood, but fell short to Shenango. It was a great meet, and there were 3 records broken that day.

Maddie Harding beat Lauren Miles’ pole vault school record, she cleared 10’3”.

Tori Atkins broke two school records. She broke her own record in the 200m and is now set at 25.3. She also broke her older sister Brooke Atkins' record. The new record is now 12.2.

Congrats to both girls on their accomplishments!

There will be another track meet on Tuesday, April 18th at Mohawk Junior Senior High School at 3:30. Make sure to come out and support your Laurel track team!
