April SOTM

By Ellena Perdue

Laurel senior Cody Wagner was voted April’s student of the month. Once a month all Laurel staff vote on a student who demonstrates the highest levels of respect, responsibility, involvement in the community, and friendliness. Cody was recently interviewed about his time here at Laurel High School and here is what he had to say.

Q:What is your favorite high school memory?

A: My favorite memory has got to be the FFA trips or trout stockings.

Q: What do you plan to do after high school?

A: I’m going to work after I graduate, maybe go to a trade school but I’m not sure yet.

Q: Who influenced you the most?

A: My daddy!

Q: Please describe your showcase.

A: I have some photos in there, my banner some of my friends got for me because I think it's funny, my FFA jacket, and some of my rewards and trophies.

Q: What is some advice you would give to underclassmen?

A: Just have fun, no need to worry about what you wanna do with your life. You have plenty of time after high school to decide. Hangout with friends, use your excused absences and have fun. Get a job.”

Congratulations Cody Wagner on being April’s Student of the Month! All the staff at Laurel is proud of you and everyone is so excited to see what you accomplish in the future!

Just have fun...
