Student of the Month

Laurel senior Brady Cooper was voted January’s student of the month. Once a month all Laurel staff vote on a student who demonstrates the highest levels of respect, responsibility, involvement in the community, and friendliness. Brady Cooper is an exceptional student, along with his stellar athletic abilities, not to mention his involvement in school clubs. Brady was recently interviewed about his time here at Laurel High School and here is what he had to say.

What is your favorite high school memory?

“My favorite high school memory is all the Friday night lights and playing football.”


What do you plan to do after high school? 

“ I plan on attending a four year college for business”


Who influenced you the most? 

  “Probably my father being my mentor, my coach, and teacher.”


Please describe your showcase. 

“My showcase has a bunch of pictures from when I was younger, pictures from sports, talent shows, Christmas shows, school dances, and a lot of awards as well.”


What is some advice you would give to underclassmen?

“Whether you think you can or cannot, you are probably right, and that is a quote from my dad as some of you probably, and unfortunately know.”
