Senior Kendra Ruperto
by Hayden Seifert
Kendra Ruperto is a senior this year at Laurel High School. Throughout her time at Laurel, Kendra has taken part in basketball, danceline, NHS, CrossFit, Conservation Club, Journalism, and the Varsity L Club. Kendra’s favorite snack before any game is a turkey and cheese wrap, and she typically gets in the right mindset by listening to “Fair Trade” by Drake.
Her favorite high school memory is having the opportunity to make it to the WPIAL championship with her basketball team. Kendra would describe herself as energetic, funny, and outgoing, which I’m sure many others would agree to. Her favorite activities outside of school are fishing and CrossFit. If she could give any advice to younger students, it would be to never be afraid to get out of your comfort zone, and try new things. Kendra’s biggest supporters are her family.
After high school, she plans to attend a four year college and major in nursing. Laurel High wishes you the best of luck after high school Kendra! Keep up the great work, you’re going to accomplish great things!
