Student of the Month

Sun Hilemen was chosen as October’s Student of the Month.

Sun’s showcase includes pictures from her early childhood up to recent pictures. Along with pictures, she included several awards from cross country and science olympiad. Sun has a plaque in the showcase which she was awarded for being the Most Valuable Runner on the girls cross country team. 

Sun’s favorite high school memory is sitting in AP Calculus with Mr. Rodgers, and he yelled at her saying, “What’s 1+1 Sun?”

Sun’s advice for the underclassmen would be “Have fun, take chances, and make the most of it because it goes by really quick.”

After high school Sun plans to attend a 4 year college to major in engineering.
