Cross Country Success

Have you been staying up to date on our Laurel Spartan Cross Country runners? Our Spartans have been quite successful so far this season. Our top runners have already medaled at invitationals this year. Our top male runner, Aidan Mack, medaled at Shenango last Saturday at Tri-county. Among other runners Ava Conti got a personal best of a 1 minute and 20 second PR. At Tri-County, we had 3 of our fellow Spartans place. Aidan Mack placed 7th, Valerie Hauser placed 9th, and Ava Conti placed 11th.  There is a 2 week break before WPIALS on the 26th where around the top 35 runners will qualify for states. Last year Aidan Mack and Valerie Hauser qualified for states last year, and are hoping for the same outcome this year.
