Claire Daugherty

Claire Daugherty is a dedicated student at Laurel Junior Senior High School, class of 2022. She is extremely hardworking and always hopes to achieve her goals. Claire is the sunshine in a dark room and always knows how to bring a smile to someone's face, whether it is just by making jokes or being her kind, caring self. She likes to spend her downtime hanging out with her friends and creating memories. Claire is a part of Laurel’s Cheer team, and cheers for the sideline team along with being a part of the outstanding competition team. Not only does she cheer for Laurel, but she also spends the remaining time that isn’t spent at Laurel’s cheer practice at Natalie’s Cheer and Tumble’s competition cheer practice.
When cheer season comes to a close, Claire uses her time to switch gears towards track and field. At track, she runs the 400 meters and the 800 meters around the track. So far this school year, and past school years,
Claire has accomplished being the Most Improved Cheerleader for 2020-2021, being a part of National Honors Society, and maintaining high honor and honor roll throughout her time in high school. She plans to continue achieving these academic goals all throughout the remainder of her senior year.
Following graduation, Claire plans to attend Allegheny college and double major in Math and Biochemistry, and minor in Literature. While at Allegheny, she plans to be a part of their Cheerleading team.
